Nel 1939 raggiunse i 203 Km\/h nella tratta Pontenure-Piacenza. L&#8217;ETR200 \u00e8 il progenitore dei treni ad alta velocit\u00e0&nbsp;italiani a&nbsp;potenza distribuita.&nbsp;Costruito dalle Officine Breda di Sesto San Giovanni (MI), l&#8217;ETR200 \u00e8 composto da 3 carrozze intercomunicanti, come se si trattasse di una sola lunga vettura snodata. Era dotato di servizio ristorante, bagagliaio e condizionamento dell&#8217;aria.
